My mom is 40 and has to get this done. But i'm scared cause she has a deviated septo in her nose and dont know how she's gonna breath with the tubes in her mouth. I dont know whats gonna happen. She has to get it done tomorrow morning. I ask for prayer in the mighty name of Jesus! Amen.

I just got my ...
I just got my gallbladder out on 8-6-10. when i woke up i felt sore cuz of the left over air in my abdomen, but i was glad to have my gallbladder out. I went home 2 days after but went back on the 9th i went back cuz the same pain from the gallstones hit me again. The doctors checked me and said i had a couple of stones stuck around in the common bile duct so that same day i went through an Endoscopy and they got them out. Now i'm more glad than ever to have my normal, painless life back. :)

im only 20 and i might have to get this done, i recently lost weight and thats how i go the gall stones. Weird kinda i never would of thought there would be negative consequences for getting healthier.

is anyone can share his/her experience after the surgery since i do have some kind of uncomfortable feelings after underwent the surgery such as bloating, pain around the scar and etc.

@ProductionsChocolate as of right now, the incisions seem to be healing up quite nicely and most of the soreness has gone away. mostly it's just my bellybutton that still hurts. also, you might get an air bubble inside your body (probably around your shoulder) from them inflating your abdomen. it can be a bit painful. i was told that laying down can help move it down a little bit, or you can try to rotate your arms to help move it too. good luck!

@ProductionsChocolate i had my gallbladder removed last friday. surgery took maybe an hour at most and i was sent home an hour after that. best advice i can give is make sure to take religiously whatever pain medication they give you for the first few days. it will help for the most part, but you will still probably be sore. they will give you all the post-op instructions too so you will know what to do/how to eat, etc.

I just had my Gall ...
I just had my Gall Bladder removed this past Thursday. At the same time I had an Umbilical Hernia repaired also. If you are living with pain get the surgery done and you will feel so much better. I lived with it for 10 years and I was miserable. I was so afraid to have surgery and now I wish I would of had it sooner. My Bladder attack was so bad I was on the floor in the ER and Morphine wasn't helping. My best advice is just find a Surgeon you are comfortable with and everything will work out.

@Blessed2BeeAlive That's a good advise! I got pain yesterday and I did not know what it was... It was terrible!! The doctor try medication few times but nothing worked... so he finally got me morphine... But I will definitively look for a natural alternative!

I just found out from my doctor (one of the top doctors in the world) that I can't eat a lot of oil from now on, or fat. I had to cut meat from my diet, which makes sense because I can't digest fat like I used to. Please let people know out there that we are prone to heart disease now if we continue to eat fat, as we don't digest it. I was told I could get heart disease within 3 years if I continues to eat oily foods. I should have rid the gallstones naturally, and yes, it can be done!

I still need to get mine out. The pain is horrible. I bet breaking my arm wouldn't even be that painful! I'm just scared something will go wrong during the surgery.
